Search "best office lunch service in Islamabad" and you get ads, directories built by people who have never eaten here, and blog posts written from another country. So here is an honest local list instead — written by someone who actually delivers lunch in this city every working day.

Full disclosure before anything else: we are Feast Pilaf, we sell office lunch, and we are on this list. Read our bias accordingly. We would judge any service — including ourselves — on five things:

• Consistency: the same quality on a random Tuesday in week three, not just the first week.
• A published menu: if you can't see what's coming next week, you'll be renegotiating lunch forever.
• Fixed delivery time: lunch at 1:40 when the break is at 1:00 ruins the whole point.
• Honest per-head math: a clear rate, a clear packaging policy, no surprise line items.
• A way to test first: any kitchen confident in its food will let you taste before you commit.

Home-style cooked meals delivered across Islamabad. If your team's taste runs to simple, ghar-jaisa khana rather than richer restaurant-style cooking, worth asking them for a quote — particularly for smaller groups.

3. Ghar Ka Khana Islamabad

Another homestyle name. Worth a call to ask about monthly arrangements and which sectors their delivery windows cover — daily-meal services live and die by the route, so confirm yours early.

4. Lunch.pk

Built around lunch itself. Ask whether they work on a fixed monthly rotation or order-by-order; the difference decides whether somebody in your office has to coordinate lunch every single day.

5. Foodaazz

A delivery-focused food service covering the capital. Worth asking directly about per-head pricing for a recurring team order, as opposed to one-off deliveries — the two are rarely the same number.

6. Basil Pantry

The lighter end of this list — pantry-style and continental rather than degh-and-thali desi lunch. If your team asks for salads and sandwiches as often as qorma and biryani, this is the direction to explore.

7. Homemade Food by Wawa

Another home-kitchen meal service in the twin cities. With any home kitchen, ask how many meals they comfortably handle in a day, so quality still holds at your headcount.

How to actually choose

Shortlist two services. Then ask both the same five questions:

1. Can we see a full month's menu in writing?
2. What time will lunch arrive, and what happens when it's late?
3. What is the exact per-head rate, with packaging included?
4. How is a holiday week billed?
5. Can we taste the food before signing up?

The answers tell you more than any list — including this one. A service that hesitates on the menu question or the tasting question is telling you something.
