Office Lunch Delivery in Islamabad: What It Actually Costs in 2026

The first message we get from a new office is almost always the same four words: what are your rates?
Fair question. But here's the strange thing about the food business in this city — almost nobody answers it in writing. You call, someone says "depends on the menu", you go back and forth for two days, and by the end you still don't know what lunch will cost your team next month.
We think that's backwards. So this post is every number we quote on WhatsApp, published where anyone can read it.
The per head rates
We run three daily lunch and dinner plans, priced per head, per day:
- Economy — Rs. 250 — one chicken main and one chicken rice a week, the rest vegetables and daal.
- Silver — Rs. 300 — two chicken mains and one chicken rice a week, with the thali option included.
- Gold — Rs. 350 — three chicken mains and one chicken rice a week, with the thali option included.
Every plan runs one dish a day on a four-week rotation, so Tuesday's food doesn't reappear on Thursday and the "what are we eating today" question answers itself. What separates the tiers is how often chicken appears and how rich the dishes are — the quota is published, not vague.

The monthly math for a real team
Per head rates sound small until you multiply them, so let's do it honestly. Take an office of fifteen people, lunch Monday to Friday — about twenty-two working days a month.
- Economy: 250 × 15 × 22 = Rs. 82,500 a month, which is Rs. 5,500 per person
- Silver: Rs. 99,000 a month, or Rs. 6,600 per person
- Gold: Rs. 115,500 a month, or Rs. 7,700 per person
Teams that eat with us six days a week simply pay for the extra serving days — twenty-six days of Economy comes to Rs. 97,500 for fifteen people, or Rs. 6,500 per person. There is no monthly subscription fee sitting on top of the per head rate.
What to compare it against
A per head rate only means something next to the thing it replaces, and offices usually arrive from one of two places:
- Everyone orders their own lunch. The company spends nothing, which is exactly why the cost is invisible — it is paid in time, coordination and a team that eats in shifts. We broke that down in this post.
- The office employs a cook. Often the right answer, sometimes not — and the comparison only works once the lines nobody counts are on paper. The full costing framework is here.
We deliberately do not publish other people's prices. Work out your own current number using those two posts, then put it beside the figures above.
The only extra charge we have
Food travels in shared deghs at no extra cost. If your team prefers individual portions, we pack in food-grade PVC boxes for Rs. 20 per head — the sturdy kind that survives the ride, not the flimsy kind that folds into the delivery bag. For fifteen people that is Rs. 300 a day, or Rs. 440 per person over a twenty-two day month.
That's it. No delivery fee, no service charge, no setup cost, no minimum order. If a quote from us ever has a fourth line item on it, ask for the manager — something's wrong.
What actually moves the price
Four things decide what your office pays, and nothing else: which tier you pick, how many people are eating, how many days a week we deliver, and degh versus boxes. If your office sits far off our usual routes we might need a conversation about timing, but that's a logistics chat, not a surcharge.
When the fixed menus don't fit
Some teams want to choose every single dish themselves. Questions offices ask us
Is there a minimum team size? Not for the plans themselves — we deliver to small offices every day, and there's a whole post on lunch for teams of five to fifteen. The 20-person minimum applies only to fully custom menus.
Is delivery really included? Yes — across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, with no fuel, distance or minimum-order charge.
What if the headcount changes? You're billed for the plates that went out that day. Holidays and closed days are not charged, and an extra guest is charged at the same per head rate.
Can we see the food before committing? Every week of every menu is public at feastpilaf.com/meal-plans, with prices attached — and the first sample lunch for an office is free.
What time does lunch arrive? We agree a delivery time when your plan starts and we hold to it. Offices run on clocks; so do we.
Who's cooking? A Punjab Food Authority approved kitchen in Soan Garden, Islamabad, run by a family that's been cooking Chinioti food for generations.
