Most of our posts talk about Bahria Town, Blue Area, weddings for 500. This one is for the people closest to us — literally. Our kitchen is in Soan Garden Markaz, Block D — opposite Palace Bakery, beside Yums Restaurant. If you've stopped at Palace Bakery, you've walked past us.

That matters more than it sounds. For Soan Garden, PWD, Police Foundation, Pakistan Town, Korang Town, Jinnah Garden and Naval Anchorage, we're not a caterer you find online and hope shows up. We're the kitchen down the road, and everything we do works a little better here because of it.

What "down the road" changes

Hot means hot. A biryani daig that leaves our kitchen reaches a PWD house in minutes, not after an hour on the Expressway. Same for a daily office lunch in Soan Garden — it's the first stop on the route, every day.
You can walk in. Come see the kitchen, taste what's cooking, talk to the chef. We're open 11 am to 11 pm, all week. No other caterer on your shortlist will offer that.
Last-minute is possible. Unexpected guests on a Friday? A dawat that grew from 12 to 20 people overnight? Being local means we can often say yes when a kitchen across the city can't.
Pick-up is an option. For a small family order, collect it yourself on the way home and skip delivery entirely.

Family dawats — the thing we do most for our neighbours

The most common order from this area isn't a wedding. It's a family dawat: a Sunday lunch for the in-laws, an aqeeqa, a milad, a farewell for someone leaving for abroad. Our family dawat deals are built for exactly that:

5 to 6 persons — Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000: a full meal, no cooking, no cleaning.
10 to 12 persons — Rs. 20,000: the standard "poori family aa rahi hai" order.
25 to 60 persons — Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 100,000: degh-style catering deals for the bigger gatherings, with the dishes listed on the event menu page.

Not every occasion needs a package. Our food menu lets you order by dish or by daig: Feast Tikka Biryani in 2, 5, 10 or 20 kg; Chinioti Kunna in mutton or beef (the dish we're actually known for — our roots are in Chiniot); Raan Dasti; haleem; platters for a small gathering. Friday lunch for the family, a late-night cricket-match order, a daig for the mosque — all normal for us.

Daily lunch for the offices and institutes around here

Soan Garden and PWD have more offices than people realise — clinics, academies, small software teams, showrooms, schools with staff rooms. Events at home or in the local halls

Mehndi in the garden, walima at one of the marquees on the Expressway, a corporate dinner at a Bahria Phase 7 or 8 venue — all within our shortest radius. Set menus start at Rs. 940 per head, hi-tea at Rs. 900, corporate menus from Rs. 1,600, and staging, lighting, DJ and décor are priced separately on the event menu so you only add what the venue lacks. Who we are, since you're a neighbour

Feast Pilaf is a registered company with an NTN and a registered trademark, a member of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce, and our kitchen is Punjab Food Authority approved. The founder, Kaleem Ullah, is from Chiniot — which is why kunna is on the menu and why the pulao tastes the way it does. The team that cooks your dawat is the same team that sends out hundreds of office lunches every weekday morning; the kitchen never sits idle, so nothing is ever cooked days in advance.

Questions neighbours ask

Can I see the kitchen before ordering? Yes — walk in any day between 11 am and 11 pm. Ask for a taste of whatever is on the stove.

How much notice for a family dawat? A day is comfortable for the family deals; same-day is often possible for smaller orders — call and ask. Big gatherings and events need a few days.

Do you deliver to Pakistan Town, Korang, Jinnah Garden, Ghauri Town? Yes, all of them, and Naval Anchorage, Media Town, Gulberg and DHA Phase 1 and 2 — the whole Expressway belt is home ground.

Can I bring my own daigs or dishes for a home dawat? Yes. Many neighbours prefer their own serving dishes for a home function; we'll fill them at the kitchen or at your door.
