Feeding Islamabad, One Office at a Time

14 August 2026

Someone asked me last week how far we deliver. I started counting areas on my fingers and ran out of fingers, so I figured the first post on this blog should just answer it properly.

We're Feast Pilaf. Our kitchen sits in Soan Garden Markaz, Block D, opposite Palace Bakery. If you drive past around eleven in the morning you'll probably see our deghs being loaded — that's lunch heading out to offices and universities across the twin cities.

Where we deliver

Most of our daily routes run along the Expressway side of Islamabad. Soan Garden itself, obviously. PWD, Police Foundation, Pakistan Town and Ghauri Town are five to fifteen minutes from the kitchen, so those orders reach hot without any drama.

Bahria Town is a big one for us. We're in the Civic Center almost every working day — a few software houses there have been eating with us long enough that the guards know our riders by name. Phases one through eight, DHA one and two, Naval Anchorage, Gulberg Greens and Gulberg Residencia are all on our regular map too.

On the city side, we serve offices in Blue Area and the G and I sectors, and across the Rawalpindi line we run the canteens at PMAS Arid Agriculture University and the Institute of Space Technology, so that whole belt is familiar territory.

If your area isn't in that list, ask anyway. The honest answer is that for a monthly plan or a decent-sized event, we go where the food needs to go.

What we actually send out

The everyday work is lunch and dinner plans for teams. Three tiers, priced per head: Economy at Rs. 250, Silver at Rs. 300 and Gold at Rs. 350. Every plan runs on a four-week menu, so Monday's chicken qorma doesn't show up again on Wednesday, and nobody has to have the "what should we order today" conversation at 12:45.

Food travels in shared deghs at no extra charge. If your team prefers individual servings, we pack in proper food-grade PVC boxes for twenty rupees a head — the sturdy kind, not the flimsy ones that leak into the delivery bag.

And if none of our three menus fits, you can build your own. We put a tool on the website where you pick a plan, choose a dish for every single day of the week, and send the finished menu straight to our WhatsApp. Offices with twenty or more people use it the most. Try it at feastpilaf.com/customize-plan — it takes about two minutes.

The other side of the kitchen

Daily lunches pay the bills, but events are where our cooks show off. Weddings, mehndis, corporate dinners, hi-teas, and the family dawat deals that start at Rs. 12,000 for five to six people. The full menus with prices are at feastpilaf.com/event-menu.

Our roots are in Chiniot, and it shows in the food. The dish we're most proud of is Chinioti Kunna — slow-cooked the way it's done back home, and the thing people most often call us back about. If you ever want to test us, start there.

One promise before you go

Every area I named above gets the same three things: food cooked fresh that morning, delivery at the time we agreed, and a kitchen that's approved by the Punjab Food Authority. That's the whole pitch. No fine print.

If you run an office anywhere in Islamabad or Rawalpindi and lunch has become a daily headache, send us a message on WhatsApp at 0315 9093990 or look through the plans at feastpilaf.com/meal-plans. First week's menu is on the website before you spend a rupee.

See you at lunch.
